Full Roof Replacement – Dixon, MO
About this roof
The best roofs are built at the transitions. Anyone can lay shingles across an open slope — craftsmanship shows up where the roof changes direction. This multi-story home in Dixon, Missouri had three of those: a stone chimney, a low-slope section, and wall lines running all the way around the house, including a full wrap-around porch.
After a single-layer tear-off down to the plywood decking, we rebuilt the roof with Owens Corning Duration in Chateau Green. New counter flashing was cut directly into the stone chimney so the metal overlaps the masonry and guides water back out onto the roof. The low-slope section received a Mule-Hide ModBit cap sheet in Pine Green, a sealed membrane built for shallow pitches. And with the roof meeting the walls on every side of the home, our crew detached the existing siding around the entire house, installed new step flashing at every transition, and reattached it. PSU30 premium ice and water shield went into every valley, flashing area, and penetration, and the finished roof is backed by our 10-year workmanship warranty plus Owens Corning’s Platinum Protection coverage.
