Blauer Manufacturing Iberia, MO

This was one of our largest commercial projects — a full roof replacement at Blauer Manufacturing in Iberia, Missouri. The existing single-ply membrane, fiberboard, foam insulation, flashings, gutters, and sheet metal all came off down to the deck. From there, our crew installed two layers of ISO insulation board and a fully adhered 60mil FiberTite roofing system in CR Gray.

FiberTite isn’t your standard commercial membrane. It’s a KEE (ketone ethylene ester) based system — a fundamentally different chemistry than the TPO or EPDM you’ll find on most commercial buildings. That matters because KEE membranes deliver superior puncture resistance, chemical resistance, and long-term flexibility compared to traditional single-ply options. FiberTite also uses a knit fabric reinforcement rather than the woven scrim found in most competitors, which means it holds up better under stress and foot traffic over time. There’s a reason buildings with FiberTite roofs installed 30+ years ago are still performing — the material doesn’t get brittle, crack, or lose its weatherproofing the way other membranes can as they age. For an active manufacturing facility like Blauer’s, where the roof has to handle chemical exposure, equipment vibration, and decades of Missouri weather, FiberTite was the right call.

At over 40,000 square feet and 400+ squares, this was a big job with a tight timeline. An 8–10 man crew completed the full tear-off and installation in just two weeks — all while Blauer Manufacturing remained fully operational. Coordinating around an active facility without disrupting production takes planning, communication, and a crew that knows how to move.

This project is backed by a 20+5 year warranty from FiberTite — 20 years of manufacturer membrane coverage plus 5 years of extended protection. Given FiberTite’s track record of roofs lasting well beyond their warranty period, that coverage comes with real confidence behind it.
